I was thinking the Same Thing even if it needed to be a Custom built trailer.

Not like you need it every week.

Since it is not really a normal problem in your area and outside water lines Do not need to be below the frost line.

Most likely you never looked for Frost free Hydrants where the valve sits below the frost line.

They also make the same sort of varying length hose bibs so the valve is inside the heated area..

I can get water out side all winter if need be.

unless I forget to bring the hose inside.

It's a pleasure to work for a company that have the employees in its thought.
My work used to treat the employees in a "humane" way thirty years ago when I thought I landed a great opportunity as was hired; it changed over the years and everything now have to abide to the "policy hand book".

You actually see some frost free hydrants around here in farm and field applications, this kind

    upload_2022-12-22_13-32-59.jpg
but they aren’t common. As far as the hose bibs on the side of a house, every one I’ve installed or seen installed have the valve just inside the spigot

I’m the last man standing at the shop on our last day before Christmas break. Figured I’d come hang out with the goons till I leave. Hanging out with a couple long cycle times running right now.
