So, I have some bigger fabrication things planned for my truck this year. One is to tie my Hammer Hangers together with the receiver on my Coastal Offroad bumper. The other is to hammer the pinch weld and do a cab mount relocation. I can make my own here, but I am wondering what the hive mind thinks is the best one out there. They don't seem too expensive and could save me some time... So, what says you?

As for Cab Mount relocation look at DRT Fabrication https://www.drt-fabrication.com/product/cab-mount-relocation

They are one of the few that has a frame plate that the mount welds to and helps spred the load across a larger area. Some just have the bracket weld right to the frame and have been known to rip or tear the actual frame.

I have the DRT kit waiting to go on. Hoping to do it next week if there's some room in the shop at work.

Tying your hangers together is a good idea. Don't know about tying them to the receiver though.

As far as the cab mount relocate, are you putting 37s in there? If not you probably could get away but just the chop and properly backspaced wheels

I tow a lot in the summer for my summer business. Have noticed, because I have an 11" drop hitch that I am getting some flex. thinking this will tie both rear rails together and stiffen the hitch receiver... The chop is just do it once kind of thing. Going to 315/75 r 17's next so may as well get it over with...

Got home last night and the driveway needed blowing...still needs it...maybe tomorrow...it's not going anywhere. House faces west, I'm in the north side of my duplex and need to blow to the north side of the driveway. Northwest and west winds suck, I wind up getting covered at least once every time.

If I wait, it's supposed to be in the upper 30's to low 40's with rain by the end of the week. :anonymous:
