    Would have been more awesome if it wasn't in the back straps lol, it really didn't mess up too much meat honestly and we didn't have to do any tracking haha

    we have a large piece of land to hunt. two seperate mountain ranges. we have trail cams of the same buck in November over 3 miles apart on both mountains. had no idea they travel like that.

    yessa Buck. the little red squirrels where we hunt we call fairydittles. little bastard will go up a tree 15yds away and bark n squalk fore what seems hours. there is more than one arrow stuck in trees at our homplace where i tried to shut one up. LOL

    17 degrees right now in NW Georgia with 16 mph winds and the wind chill is 1. I do have the wind direction in my favor. I don’t think I’m going out as early as I usually do, but I’m going to give it a try at least.

    You’re a Christmas Eve baby? It can be tough having a bday so close to Christmas. Mine is on Christmas. I would love nothing more than to go out Christmas morning but that wouldn’t be fair to have my wife hold off two toddlers from opening their gifts. Maybe an afternoon hunt.

    Hunted yesterday morning. Figured with new moon and right before the front was going to hit, it would be good movement. I was wrong. Shooting light was 6:59. Didn't see first deer till 8:15 and it was 650yds down the power line. Ended up seeing 3 buck and 2 doe but closest one was 250yds.
