First transfusion on the new truck, added a Fumoto Valve at the same time! Also changed the air and cabin filters. First time to play with the filter cap assembly, that is definitely a thing.

figured I’m going to pass 10k on my drive this weekend so being proactive is a good thing.
Out of curiosity, how often are y’all changing your oil. The AmsOil says it’s good for 25k… I’m skeptical at best with that number, On my ‘02 I go every 5k.

On a side note it’s a lot easier to crawl under a lifted truck than a stock height truck.

Mine is. No doubt about it. But there are some cheap ones out there that will not do as promised. Buyer beware.

Hey, how many bulbs did you replace with this type? I understand there's two for each light high and low beams, and do you still have the original projector housing, and did you replace your fog lights bulb?

That’s what I’m planning on, I grew up with 3mo/3k which probably dates me. I find it odd that Toyota says 10k, but I suppose they need a way to sell more products.

The local stealership evidently has at least one 200 lb. gorilla on staff. It took a breaker bar to remove the oil filter element housing, definitely more than 25Nm/18.44ft-lbs. This is the main reason I like to do my own maintenance.

Since the SUV see more road time that will be the candidate for the LED upgrade. Since it's a Toyota, it uses the same LED as the Tacoma.

Was there a big different in brightness over the stock bulb? Was it worth it?

I read some auto store bought LED wasn't worth the time or money.

I have the original projector housing. I replaced the low beam with this bulb. Best halogen out there in my opinion (I tried many). I took off the LED’s I had on there because the light was just everywhere and not focused correctly.. Just like what was mentioned earlier.
My high beams still have stock H9 bulbs.
I used to have H16 bulbs in fog lights but replaced them with DD SS3 fogs.

Can’t blame you, I figure OEM is the base line product. I bought the truck with 6.5k on the clock, not too bad for a 2020. I figure I’ll shoot for 5k increments, easy to remember. I’ve been running Mobil 1 engine oil & Lucas gear oil in the ‘02, but I’m going to make the switch to Ams Oil products for both trucks. With preferred pricing, it doesn’t cost much more than OTC lubricants. Also my stealership wouldn’t sell me a TRD oil filter which I thought was kinda funny, but that’s a different topic all together.

Thanks for reply. I'll probably leave my high beams as is for now as well, unless I'm blown away with the new low beams/bulb. Question on your DD SS3 fogs, do you love them? How much better are they than the OEM housing with the H16 bulbs?
