    Morning Robert - Happy Birthday!

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Yeah, 15* overnight. All the plants dipped to 39* or so, but not much I can do about it now. Heater in the greenhouse rans from 3:00 PM yesterday, and still going. Sunshine has it up to 47* at least. Might run an errand, or not. Only other plan is how to make the sunroom warmer! Mini-split heat pump just doesn't contribute when it's below 30*.

Good morning Kurt, yeah when it starts getting down 15 below freezing, it’s a losing battle. My truck said 12*F this morning at 745. Felt like -3 with the wind chill:eek:

Only thing I can really do with the greenhouse is to bubble wrap the roof. And that's a pain. When it was cold before, in the 20's, it did not dip below it's setpoint of 45*, and warmed it up pretty quickly to 55*, where it would cycle back off.
Second ever wind chill warning in this area. EVER. First, freezemageddon of 21, of course. All this once in a generation weather keeps repeating!

Another small ceramic heater might help to get the temps back up to where you want them more quickly. Definitely has to be the wind that is doing it, it just sucks the heat out of everything. I am going to be finding some stuff to do inside myself today. And yeah no kidding, we've had some potent storms over the past few years. Seems like they're becoming more of a normal thing

Thanks y'all. Starting to be among the living ordered crab legs. Maybe I get enough will to retune the truck.

Morning Mark - just our son coming over for tonight and tomorrow - our usual crowd.

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Few degrees warmer this AM, and not as cold for as long either. The light wind really helped with the greenhouse temps, as they stayed where they should all night, only dipping once to 43*, and rocketing back up with the sun! Garage did better too, after I raised the temp a little bit (I'm really only heating and measuring a small area). Made a perfect, long burning fire last night, and the wife slept right through it! (Since she didn't adjust it; might be why). Just added a couple more splits before bed, and it looked like the pictures.
Just some clean up and odds and ends around the house, and we're ready! :santa:

LOL. Our neighbor got Rex a "Doggie Advent Calendar" of treats. He got his last one this morning, and it was apparently special. He took it outside and managed to bury it somewhere!
