OEM leaf pack off the rig after putting some dakars on. Would love to give these to someone who could use them or take em apart to make a sweet DIY leaf pack. I couldn't post in Buy/Sell because I guess im not that cool yet, sorry. :ballchain:

FREE if you come snag em! Located in Olympia, WA. Shoot me a message. Cheers & happy Toyotathon.

***as you can see in picture the bushings are still stuck in there...nothing that would stop a hole saw from busting em out tho***

Never fails the other side of the country!!

I see you needed to cut the hanger bolts off to get them out.

After my first attempt fighting all day That is by far the easy way.

That leaf pack is so old, I wouldn't suggest anyone else use them.

Why not recycle them and get a few bucks?

Unless one has a friend that has the tools to re arch the springs like the old days .

It was fun to watch that done.

Need a little more lift an easy fix.

New leaf springs and coil springs made while you waited and watched.

I have a pile of metal parts just waiting for me to learn how to make knives from. Leaf springs, bearings, etc...

I had a spring shop re-arch the leaf springs on a 1988 Toyota pickup some years back, and it was pretty successful. It wasn't a daily driver, though, so it was fine for that purpose. Then it depends on the condition of the leaf springs.

Interesting how much arch is visible with the springs off, and how flat they are when installed.
