Doing work things at work. The VP came in with a 30 pack. Little work party. Still waiting for food to show up.

Speaking of windows, a freaking bird crapped on my glass storm door, off of our deck. Every time I look out to check the weather I saw it. I had to clean it off, frozen and all, as I was driving my nuts. It looks like we are about done with the snow and just left with the cold for now.

We closed at 100. Everyone like, oh wow we have a half day. Yeah, half day. Bitch, I was in at 600, move, I’m out.
Tore home, roads were good. Went through all the food for the next two days, check. Presents all set, check. Got changed, some Jim Beam and an ice cube, recliner up and I have the Good the Bad and the Ugly on.
For the next hour and a half, life is good.

I do have to get a pair of timberlands for my 5 month old grandson but that would be after Christmas.
Guess you would call them “Tiny Tim’s”
It’s the Jim Beam folks not me. God Bless us one and all and take care.

    Old school right there.
Most places wouldn't do it for liability reasons.

Many years ago my former employer used to have a summer company picnic with a generous amount of beer available. One year an employee went up to the owner (a starched shirt kind of guy if there ever was one) and told him "y'know, your wife has a really nice @$$"...

Well that was the end of both the beer at the picnics & the employee.

I'd rather sweat my ass off, get swamp ass and bayou balls than deal with this shit. I know people will say "But you can stay warm in the winter by adding more clothes, you can stay cool in the heat". I mostly work out doors so I call bullshit on that statement, you can't keep warm in this weather. I know my fellow truck drivers on here can agree with me.

I hear ya rebel, went for a 2 minute walk looking for my garbage can lid and came back frozen. The wind is something else, wow. Hats off to those who work outside! I appreciate ya.

Ours went off and on, out about a minute. I prayed. I cursed. And the electric came back on. Thank you Jesus.
