Mine was scheduled for late November delivery to Tiny Rig. I have not checked to see if there were any updates.

Good job at seeing that. I had popped the latches on that side before my walk around. By the time I got back around to that side the gas struts did their job

so as fate would have it, I drove into work today and spotted the older version of the canopy on a 6ft bed in a parking garage.

    Got a close up look.

The pictures indeed don’t really do justice. The pics can look boxy. Not nearly as boxy when you see them up close and in 3d.

    Looks awesome in person.

I remember doing a double take when I saw one in the wild. Thought it was some cap I had somehow never known about. Turned out to be an Alucab and I dropped my SmartCap order and ordered an Alucab instead. They look way better in person.

Does anyone have an ACCC on a 2nd gen access cab? looks like most people have DCLB or DCSB.

Just for those who are struggling with putting the m8 bolts into the t-tracks on the ceiling of your shells....

Just went through this pain last night, two of the tracks fit good, two of them did not. I was putting m8x16mm bolts up there with m8 stainless steel rings screwed to the bolts to hang a cargo net (turned out nice).

Ended up being able to start the m8 bolt on one side and needed to push it past the powdercoating to get to the far opposite end. A metal automotive clip tool (I used ARES 70227) was used to push the bolt, after screwing the metal stainless ring onto the bolt loosely and using some pressure via my fingers on the ring. Took a try or two, but in the end took 2-3 minutes compared to the 30 minutes I spent trying to do it without the clip tool.

Nice tip. I only had two locations where my PC caused any issues, and I used a similar tactic to 'break' it out of the way.

Any update on the different orifice? Assuming you were waiting on it to arrive and not waiting to order it.

Dickinson is no Amazon, so I finally have an order from them. I'll update with another test once it arrives and I get it installed.

I finally got my Contour Canopy installed. I preordered this thing in August and it didn't arrive until early December.

So far, I love this thing. Well worth the investment!

For those with a Canopy esp the contour what are your thoughts on sealing up the bed? I am having Tiny Rig install mine and they do seal it to the bed when they install it. I am looking at the gaps by the tailgate, under the side caps and the drains. I have heard about using firewall sealing plugs for the bed but am also looking into sunroof water drains which will probably keep it pretty sealed but not totally sealed like a firewall plug.

The bed is too many pieces to seal IMO. I didn’t seal the front
part of my bed and only did butyl tape under the bed rails. Yes water gets in but it also gets out. If you have the OEM bed mat any water just runs under it so nothing gets wet. Spend your time on making the wiring nice and building it out to your setup.
