Hello all,new to the forum.i have a 2010 Tacoma double cab 4x4 and I'm having a issue engaging the diff lock and 4x4.I went to engage my rear diff lock and it just flashes and never engages so I was confused and figured I'd try the 4x4 but as soon as I turn the selector it just flashes 4 lo and won't engage,if I restart the truck in 2 hi the light goes out but as soon as I put it in 4 hi or 4 lo it just flashes 4 lo,both the rear locker and 4x4 worked in the summer any input would be valued I'm a powersports technician and am pretty well rounded but I'd figure Id get some opinions on how to tackle this issue.its in the negatives right now in Missouri so I'm not sure if my actuators are lazy but it's strange to me the diff lock and the 4x4 quit working all at once.

You need to be in 4lo before engaging the diff lock on a 4x4.

And you need to be in N to engage 4lo if you have an automatic transmission.

You have to be in 4Lo to engage the locker.
If you are saying locker OFF, and it still won’t go into 4Hi.
You likely have a wiring or actuator problem.

Before we move on to the link and diagnoses process below.
Can your tell us how you are engaging 4WD?

The link below will help you get it diagnosed.
Post your findings in that thread, and we will help you get it sorted out.
We will need you to post your finding on the voltage chart.

When you go to engage 4lo are you in 4hi stopped/below 3mph in neutral/clutch all the way down?
