There shouldn't be any speed limits... Never used to be.

And a standard ticket is $20. Anything under 15 over the limit is 20 bucks... It is exponential from there

No...I pulled over and you passed me and then the patrol lady made me move on down the road while she chatted with you.

First I was like  then I was like :yay: then I was like

I remember you driving past and pulling over and I was thinking that I should probably start digging out my papers when the patrol car passed me...there was a brief moment of relief when I realized that she wasn't after me and then I was back to cussing when I realized that that meant she was after you.

Haha you may be right. I just remembered sitting there seeing you pulled over in front of me. It sucked, but it is what it is, and I still passed my background check and have Secret clearance regardless :yay:

Option 3 unless you like the idea of it being portable...

I would just really like to live in the city... for at least a while (a summer even). Maybe not a big city, just somewhere warm, where I can get up early and golf, hit up the ocean and scuba/snorkel, the stuff I love doing. Sometimes I just want to be around a bustling community. But I am still young and naive.

The catch up here is that there is no city. It is country, everywhere! I just would really like to get out. I haven't been anywhere worth noting in over 3 years, I just need to get out. What I would give right now for like a 1 week bass fishing trip in Texas, Mexico, etc.

During the Revolutionary War Philadelphia served as one of America's first capital cities. These days, however, Philadelphia could be considered the capital of toxicity, since the city and its environs ranked No. 1 on our 2011 Most Toxic Cities list. One big reason: The sprawling Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), including parts of four states (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and one county in Maryland), is pocked with more than 50 Superfund sites -- areas no longer in use that contain hazardous waste.
While the East Coast metro, with its old industrial sites, grabbed the top spot, California metropolitan areas claimed four of the 10 spots on our Most Toxic list, primarily due to the chronic air quality problem known as smog.

Fungus turns Amazonian ants into zombies

Darren Osborne for ABC Science Online, ABC March 3, 2011, 3:21 pm

Researchers combing the rainforests of Brazil have uncovered four new species of fungi that turns ants into zombies.
Although it is not the first time the fungi has been seen affecting ants, the discovery of four distinct species in close proximity highlights the level of biodiversity in the Amazon.
Their study appears online in the journal _PLoS One_.
The research, led by Assistant Professor David Hughes of the University of Pennsylvannia, identified and described the parasitic fungus Ophiocordyceps unliateralis living on four species of carpenter ant (Camponotini sp.) in the Zona da Mata region of Brazil.
Ants become infected when they come into contact with spores released by the fungus. Within a week the ant enters a zombie-like state.
"This so-called zombie or brain-manipulating fungus alters the behaviours of the ant host, causing it to die in an exposed position, typically clinging onto and biting the adaxial surface of shrub leaves," the study authors write.
The fungus then grows out of the head of the ant, releasing spores into the air, which rain down onto unsuspecting ants and the forest floor.
In 2009, Hughes led a team of researchers studying zombie-ants in Indonesia. They found the infected ants consistently attached to leaves 25 centimetres above the ground in an environment with 95 per cent humidity - perfect conditions for the fungus to grow.
In the current study, Hughes and colleagues found each species of fungus was different in size and shape, and adapted to live only in one particular species.
Two of the species of fungus have also adapted to grow secondary spores, doubling their chances of finding a new host.
    Limited impact on species
