    Evening ladies and gents! I'm hailing from about 2 minutes from uncle @Gritto s house tonight. We are still without power at home, so staying with a friend tonight. When I left it was 40 degrees inside the house. Outside the house we are down to about 1°. No update on when the power will be back. Here's to hoping the pipes magically don't freeze! :proposetoast:

    I bought one of these heaters just in case the power would go out to keep the pipes from freezing. It will run off electricity or a DeWalt tool battery. It uses a 20lb propane bottle. I ran it in my garage today and it got the garage up to 80 degrees before I cut the thermostat back. Well worth the $200!490B19A7-BA68-4185-A33D-1996C7E557ED.jpg

    I live in a pretty small house (little less than 1,000 square feet.) I’m pretty sure I could heat all of it with this heater. It will run several hours on a 20# tank and one battery. Wish I had room for a pellet stove.
