KC area question: I have 4 pretty good take off tires from a 4Runner limited. I’ve put them on Craigslist but as you might know they are an odd size (245/60R20) that I believe only someone with the limited or nightshade 20’s would run. Before I throw them away anyone in KC want a free set of decent tires?

 

Tires make good engine stands. Or if you know anyone with a boat, dock, people always need tires.

That being said, don't just chuck them away into a dumpster, tires should be recycled

 

Still learning to understand how this truck handles in snow/ice my first attempt at drifting a corner (nobody was around and it was open) It started good then ended in a 360 haha it’s got a lot more power then the old tacoma so gave it much beans and 360 I went!

I will say the traction control actually works very well thou in this truck hit black ice on an overpass that enter 470 and it kept the truck from hitting the wall. My 13 tacoma would have let me hit the wall lol

 

Yes, of course I would dispose of them legally (recycling is the only legal option in Missouri). I’m trying to avoid someone not getting use of the remaining tread. Seems like a waste and there was a time in my life I was grateful for free used tires that would fit what I was rolling around on.

Finally back in here and holy crap you girls run wild without supervision!

Went in at 7 just fine. Couldn't see more than 50ft in front of the truck but held 55-60 just fine. We got an early out at 1:30 so i went to the local watering hole in eudora and warmed up.

Yeah i didn't need 4wd until i was in my business park

So that's what i did wrong... should have removed the muffler bearings and flux capacitors before installing my dakars... it was clearly written there in the manual right? That's so freaking stupid. Definitely call corporate because that service writer and service manager have a whirlwind coming. Toyota doesn't take that shit lightly. If its high enough where this BS is coming from toyota can actually force them to close.

 

Yeah I put my AAL in, was easy. No breaks were touched or even needed to be. Lame service writer.

 

turns traction control off like most people do lol i never had mine on in the tacoma. i never had wall marks either with it but i know how its traction control "worked" and its awful
