MSRP for my '22 Pro and I'll happily pay it again since there aren't many manual transmission 4x4's out there.

Sounds good. But if they add on $5000 worth of dealer options like nitrogen tires, scotch guarded seats, triple priced tint, etc. the that savings is negated. But hopefully it's real.

I recently got a new 2022 Limited, 2WD. Out the door it was $44,000. They charged me for window tint, clear molding on the front doors which began coming off in a month and over priced mud guards. It is what it is but what chapped my ass was charging me for nitrogen in the tires. What a scam that is, I told the salesman why the hell are you putting nitrogen in the tires, do you think I got a bottle of nitrogen at home ?

My friends gave me grief about not getting 4WD, but I don’t need one. If it sleets and snows I stay home and drink coffee and sit by the fire, I’m retired and don’t have to get to work, I can bag a deer or a turkey sitting on my back porch.

Oh by the way, here in Arkansas the sales tax (7%) on my new Tacoma which included tags was $2980.00. That was in addition to the out the door price of $44,000. There is sales tax on any vehicle sold in the state, new or used, if it is over $1,000.

Even in the good days, pros w trees could go above MSRP. To not pay the adjustment is good to go.

Just bought a 2023 TRD OR 4x4 access cab here is the spec sheet. I am trading up from a 1997 trooper which has served me very well. I’ve never had a new vehicle. So I’m excited about the taco, out the door with taxes 4% and everything it’s about $42,000

they gave me $1000 off but added about $2100 in extras at port of entry so it evens out. I was torn between ordering a manual transmission, but I really want to tow a small casita camper, and the tow package with transmission cooler is nice. Also we go to baja every winter and having crawl control to get out of sand is a game changer.

Also I already ordered a matching ARE MX mid rise camper with side opening doors $3500 so not cheap, but hopefully it works for what we need.

Not bad though, really just the paint protection and door guards. The rest is at least real and useful. Only been a few lately that got anything off so you’re sitting pretty.
