What does this do? I'm not up on the "recovery" stuff.

It’s the synthetic rope equivalent to a snatch block. Allows you to turn an angle with your winch line.

Guess we gotta put you a winch on the truck so you have an excuse to get the gear for it.

I should've kept that ARB I had. Although, I really dig the winch bumpers that take the place of just the grey part of the factory bumpers. One like @baldridge has.

I like the way those low profile ones look too. I was strongly considering those for a while. I really liked the idea of having one that’s airbag tested more, but it’ll be a while before I can justify switching to another bumper and the only two that seem to have that are the ARB or the Ironman ones.

I have been wanting to see one of these in use. That will be a lot better to use and store compared to a full sized snatch block.

It definitely crams into the backpack I use for a recovery bag a lot better than the traditional snatch blocks would have. Lol. Gotta find a time to get out and test it now.

Good call. Still need to pretension the line too. Haven’t found a good spot for that yet.

Finally made time to adjust my coilovers. Just in time for some cool foggy weather.

Been busy building a show and haven’t posted in a bit, but I put the ol’ girl to work hauling lumber the other day.

Upgraded my sleeping quarters yesterday! It’s heavily used, so I got the tent and bars together for a steal. Needs a couple patches and a new cover and the bars could use a paint touch-up, but I’m stoked.

Had a good time taking the tent out for the first night last night. Definitely the best night’s sleep I’ve had camping in maybe ever.

Found a dang good deal on a Wilco Hitchgate Solo that I jumped on. It’s the high clearance version and included the high lift jack and license plate relocation bracket. Pretty stoked!

First night/morning at Land Between the Lakes had been awesome. Wish I’d have gotten here before dark last night, but it is what it is. Have a couple photos as an offering before the real fun begins.

I haven’t popped in on your thread in a while, I really love what you have done with the truck! Those g003’s are amazing tires.

I went from 265 all terrains to 285 g003’s and the MPGs killed me. I should have gone skinny instead

    I love all the pics!
