A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
Completed my LT install yesterday. Converting the CV’s was a task. My 20ton press gave up and had to get creative. Other than that, install was simple. It’s an AllPro 2+ kit with Icon LT shocks. The shocks were gifted to me, so that was nice.D85B5BA8-87CE-498B-8AAB-FFB25B6B7DAA.jpg D5FB3966-9745-4531-A1EE-C838B355997E.jpg B3A761C2-DDAF-48E4-8A07-782907FF8BD1.jpg 9C505D1E-B588-4014-AAFE-15658ACE40AE.jpg Next step is an alignment. I feel that 4* caster and 0* camber would be ideal for a daily driver with LT. This is a humongous amount of travel over the mid travel suspension that I had.

Hows the bumpsteer? I've heard from some that those kits have issues with that.

The all pro kit won't have any more or any less bumpsteer than any other kit that uses stock frame pivot points and the stock spindle

You'll get bumpsteer when you start moving factory geometry without compensating for the changes

Some examples could be a different width rack or tie rod changes using a clevis that does not mirror factory pivot location without changing the other end location of the tie rod to compensate

2nd/3rd gen/4runner/FJ front suspension geometry cyles very clean and has very little bumpsteer

    Yes
i don’t think that is entirely accurate because a poorly designed kit can easily introduce bump steer if the geometry of the uca and lca are not correct. you are talking about the pivot points but there is more to the equation ie: the length of the ucs and lca and the location of the tips of those triangles where your bj’s or uniballs reside. If that geometry is not correct it will cause bump steer.

While agree with the last comment I can say after 4K miles on my depo kit (all pro copy) I can say I’ve had very little bump steer. So idk if his will be the same or not.

Didn’t you severely limit your up travel on your kit? How can you attest to bump steer if you limit you up travel? :boink:

You realize bump steer isn’t always felt right? Measure toe through the range of travel, it might shock you. As @Evenflow said. There’s way more that contributes to bump steer.

This thing is rad! You have a link to the build thread? Love the work you've done to it.

Really curious of what you've got under the bed?

Came out looking good! Is that a new kit or did you do a refurb on it? I also didn't realize that Icon made an 8" C/O.

Getting my axle shafts out of the outer/inners was also a PITA. My 20ton press also wouldn't do the trick. Ended up cutting the shaft on the outside to get the shaft out and taking the inner to the lathe at work.

Setting max caster with cam eliminators and cold Poly Bushings is a bitch, for sure.

Well… I picked up another project truck.

Because that’s what I need in my life right now. Lol. Finishing up my truck is the first priority but this will fall closely behind.
