    So. Many. Stickers.
The brake actuated traction control and ABS and LSD actually works ridiculously well. And it's easier to maintain than the mechanical variance from older vehicles. Less wear and tear too. You just got to know how to drive with it on.

the tacomas abs was awful instead of working like it should mine would lock the entire thing up including the steering so i was just stuck for the ride... i took it to toyota multiple times to have it looked at and they always told me it operated normally.... so i then kept it turned off because of how poorly it worked

guess locking up isnt the right wording but it didnt work properly... its been posted on here before that the 2nd gens abs in snow is to sensitive and doesnt work properly so most just turned it off because of it. idk about the 3rd gens thou ive been told they changed it thou

My experience with mine was always good. Though I’m old school and prefer to not use it as that wasn’t something I had in the beginning as it wasn’t standard. Mine work, fine to just flip in to 4x4. I can see some not working as designed though/ intended and being a problem.

my experience was similar to most where its over sensitive and the truck has a full on spasm and makes the truck slide. the steering thing idk why it did that thou! but once the abs was turned off it did great! 2wd or 4wd it was great as long as the abs was off

Yeah abs is a funky thing. That too is a newer standard thing lol. I’ve helped fix up a couple people doing drum brake work. How’s the Ranger driving?

Yeah mine needs to be reliable so I’ve only done basic changes like the lift, secondary pump bs and that’s all lol

ya it is haha. the ranger drives great tbh i really do enjoy it! some small things do drive me nuts but its small things like the ac buttons instead of knobs silly little things like that haha the one thing ive noticed since the ranger is a bit more narrow and taller then the tacoma it gets blown around in the wind a lot easier but its something ive learned and can deal with
