It has been below zero for the past 24 hours here, although its supposed to go up to 10 tomorrow.

 

-10 windchill here currently. It’s miserable.

 

5 here with a wind chill of -12.
I wouldn’t say the temperature is as miserable.

If I have a water pipe bust, that would be miserable.

 

Holding about 1°, this was earlier

 

It's -19 here with the wind, way too cold for me!

 

This was a brand new light set; I had a hell of a time getting it to shut off last night, and today they would not turn on. I figured that the short had killed the batteries, so I opened it up to replace them and this what I found...





Brand new lights; FUCK THIS COLD WEATHER!

 

I hear you on the cold.
I developed an annoying rattle around my glove box.
Finally figured it out. It was the panel to the right of the glovebox.
At 23 degrees outside, I fixed the problem with some cardboard paper.

I’m not pulling the dash apart in this weather.
From what I can “feel”, it seems to be a press fit.
But I have to take the lower panel off to get to it. No Thanks.

 

The water quit flowing in my bathroom and l even left the faucet running, praying no pipes burst as l really don't feel like going in the crawl space to replace pipes.

 

Sell house, move to warmer climate. Problem solved

 

I don't think he could find a house for the same price as his current house in a warmer climate...

 

I showed up at Peddler's Village at sundown, and it was dead; I know the cold weather is to blame for this, because it was packed on Christmas Eve last year...

What is your tolerance for crime, distance from society, and heat?

 

Where else can you can get a 2-bedroom house with central air on that much land for fifty grand?
