I own a bicycle shop where I service fleets-mostly camps up here in the northwoods. I owned a shop for years in Olympia Washington, and when we moved here and the girls started going to camp I saw a way to help the camps out (not transporting 20+ bikes to and from a shop and waiting for them) by coming on site and doing the service. I am kind of the only person doing this and I currently have about ten camps that I do every year. Keeps me busy and pays for my girls to go to camp. Keep all my tools and parts in out camper trailer. This is a picture from Kamp Kawaga this year:

Edit: yes the canopy is trashed-my every four year or so expenditure...

I have a 2 ft drift at the end of the driveway. I figure I have a 4R and will blast through if need be. I thought about plowing but the wind has moved the drift 10 ft east in 4 hrs. Hopefully the wind will keep on keepin' on. Half of the driveway is clear now.

    Yep.

    This weather blows!

It's actually pretty cool watching the snow blow across the road in some areas. It almost looks like a stream or river of white dust. It was sketchy in a few spots north of Madison on 51 where visibility was severely reduced. It was like driving through fog.

Perfect weather for my son's driveshaft (u-joint) to call it quits. :angrygirl:

    Yup.

The good news is that it's a total of 10 bolts, and looks super simple. The bad news is that everything is rusty, and I have to do it in the cold.

And, it looks like it's going to show up next Thursday, which is after I planned on leaving to go to Florida. Not really a big deal, but I was hoping to be down there before New Year's Eve, so I can go to a party on the island or something.

    Merry Christmas, everyone!

As I said to my family earlier, I feel lucky and happy to be a part of this group! It's amazing how a single common interest seems to have drawn in so many truly awesome people!

Thanks for letting me hang out with you guys! :)
