Does this have Nav?

My 2020 doesn’t currently have Nav… you or anyone know if this Nav system will work if I pop out my unit and throw this in??

It’s got Apple CarPlay. Minimum you can get Google maps.

 

Does your truck have the Safety and Remote Connect? If it does, there is already GPS in the truck. There is a wiring harness taped up that needs to be plugged in for the Nav system. I bought a factory head unit with Nav off someone here and it works great. If you pay for the Remote Connect ($80 a year), the Nav system works better finding things, plus you can dictate text messages using the head unit.

 

So my factory 2020 Sport headunit has Apple/Android car play. It even has a button on the side of the screen for “map”. It’s not the JBL headunit either. Thought there was just a Nav Brain I needed and a wire harness and would be good to go… maybe I’ll just opt to upgrade all together and get the Alpine head with all the bells and whistles, lol!

 

There’s a difference in the scout gps head unit (non navigation) that works off a phone gps vs the real navigation unit which I’m selling. Plus you maintain the factory look and don’t have to change the bezel etc. PMs replied.

 

The map button on the non-Nav unit is for when you have your phone connected and using Apple or Android with something like Waze or Google Maps.

 

If the truck has Safety and Remote Connect, there is a real GPS unit in the truck to track your location even if the head unit doesn't have Nav.
