Oh, it started, but was making all kinds of odd noises. I think it took a good 15 miles to get warm and my drive home is only 17.5

Glad I stopped to top off the tank day before yesterday, since our squeaky snow and single digit (plus and minus temps) are beginning to give way to that warm air that my daughter was talking about in Bend, OR as what I was hearing over her phone was the cascade from roof gutters at a drive-thru where she was picking up a sandwich. I forecast that we'd see those 42 degrees a week later, and that's the NWS Spokane FO forecast... good thing schools are not in session for the next two weeks. One of my BFs made it over Snoqualmie Pass to visit his dad (his mom passed on recently, so I'm glad he's over there to keep his dad company). Nine hours last night thoroughly cleaning the school before waiting through several minutes and attempts before the in-security system accepted the last key press to set the alarms system and prompt me to exit. Light snow/mist changing to freezing rain/icy, then rain and above freezing early next week. It almost makes one wish for road construction season too early...
