I got my girls a PSE adjustable. Supposedly it’s capable of tuning up to 40 lbs but I can’t see how that’s possible lol

really hoping my youngest gets into it with me. She did sit with me bow hunting this season and loved every minute of it

Why? You just crank down the limb bolts right?

It’s just so flimsy and small. And you crank the limbs down and there’s adjustments on the cams too

Be careful cranking the limbs, never go over one full turn without matching the other side. Somebody once told me that :notsure:

Lol I am overly cautious with things that are under load. I just assume buy a new bow over having something blow up in my face

"It won't happen to me", until it does...

been fighting my hunting buddies for years now, ever since I started hunting, to tether in EVERY time, no matter the height. Unfortunately, some people just grew up under different mindsets, and are too prideful to take safety seriously. There's always some BS excuse like "its faster, its more quiet, its this/that." Tell that to your family when they're grid searching the woods and have to walk up on your lifeless body.

Well, it took a month basically, but I got my Ravin R15 crossbow back and hopefully all repaired. Need to sight it in again, but cold and going to be colder + the holidays are almost here.

Had to pay the local shop $80+ to ship it to the Ravin shop in Wisconsin, but there was ZERO repair costs from Ravin!!! So, that was a major relief.

Hope it works like it used to....we will see one of these days.

Supposedly, according to the Ravin rep, they were getting 40 +/- crossbows in a day for repair!!! Not sure about their overall quality after hearing that.

Finally had a chance to cook tonight, only the second time I’ve done Backstraps.
Considering what was left between the three of us, I think it was successful

Hope everyone’s staying warm and safe!!

Got a mule deer doe down and two whitetail doe down with my bow this year. All on public. Two from the ground and one from the saddle. Unfortunately, coyotes got to one whitetail doe within an hour and a half of the shot. She was only 50 yards away before I could find her. Not an archery kill, but I included my public land rifle San Diego buck.

Great season started with a public land double beard, rolled into a great year for deer also.
