I was really temped to get these but after seeing the gaps on the manual transmission Tacomas I will just keep my current MillerCat shield.

Looking into the Meso stage 1 taillight kit- says I may need a load resistor. I have a 2023 Sport. How will I know if I need one?

 

I installed flush mounted cornering lights (at 45°) using Baha Designs S1 LED lights.



I considered using A-Pillar mounts or mounting directly on the bumper. Bit I wanted lights that were not "sticking out" so much. I couldn't find anything flush mounted so I designed a set and printed them on my 3D printer.

Designing a mount that conformed to this position required a lot of trial and error due to the intersection angles of the bumper.

The real work (of course) was the wire harness using

The plan is for each cornering light to be controlled separately or at the same time.

The larger project is a switch panel to control each of 9 separate external lights independently using a switch panel in the center console.


Top center: Front LED light bar
Top corners: Left and right cornering lights on the bumper
Sides: Left and right side lights on the A Pillar
Rear corners: Left and right side lights on the ARE cap
Rear center: reverse light in bumper
Center: Rock lights

So today was just getting the wire harness built, connecting all the relays and mounting these cornering lights. This took all day...

 

It’s sort of a crap shoot as to who needs them and who doesn’t. The turns will hyper flash while in reverse without them if you do. Some people live with that because it’s only an issue while parallel parking. I just bought them with the kit because they were in stock and I don’t believe there’s a downside to having them wether necessary or not, but I could be wrong on that point

 

Installed one of my tungsRam Nighthawk halogen bulbs in driver side here's a difference once tomorrow comes around I'll install passenger side bulb and I'll be even on the set hope it helps. It'll all be okay once I get my dd ss3 fogs installed.

Built a center fill plate for my bumper (winch hole cutout after the pic), and mounted the new to me wheels. Also picked up a set of Trd Pro coilovers

 

I can't comment on the taillight kit but I have ordered low beams, fog lights and complete interior led kit for my 4runner so far I like them. Link is vleds.com

Why is the clock fast...?

2020 OR model, tech package but not the audio package. Normal Gracenote display. Set the clock and over time it speeds up. I set it a couple of months ago and it is almost 10 minutes fast now. Have I missed a setting somewhere?

Are you running a Fumoto valve? Secondly, and what I’m really after is what skid plate are you running that you have enough room to flip the lever on the valve. I’m looking for a skid that is more robust than the factory tin and doesn’t have to be removed to do oil changes.
