Hmmm, I’m not 100% sure. I don’t have a mag safe case. I’m pretty positive it would work with any magnetic case though.

Taco Garage DMM is a great option. I've got one and super pleased. It has several mounts, sturdy and can run charging cables. Also I like the low profile look. Definitely a good product and price. Hope this helps

@GatorBodine @fonzi42 the camera bump(s) are too big on all iPhones after the 12, and prevent the phone from laying flat on the charger

Makes complete sense, I was thinking that was the issue after revisiting the issue.

The best cell phone holder is one you don't need, and don't buy.

Use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Further get a wireless dongle, and use them wirelessly. If you have a head-unit with the capability, use it, you will not regret it. So easy to do all things without touching the phone.

If you don't have a HU that has the capability - my recommendation is to buy a HU to replace the one in your vehicle.

You can't come to this forum expecting to go "cheap". Cheap has it's place, but with all things Taco? Repeat after me - mods, Mods, MODS!

I agree. Could not cheap out on the mount for my situation.

My mobile device runs Lineage OS and has been de-Googled. Therefore no Android Auto. Which I am ok with to not give the Google overlords my info if I can avoid it. ;)

Interesting. I have an LG V60 so Lineage OS is not available for it - but I'm fairly reliant on Android Auto and have been for years, so even if the OS were available for my phone, and Android Auto were available on Lineage, I wouldn't load it. :bananadead:
What is the "Android Automotive" all about? Feel free to DM me. You lost just about everyone who couldn't care less about OSs. :burnrubber:

I like my Hondo Garage phone mount. Wish they offered magnetic though.

Another one for the Taco Garage DMM! 2 phone mounts and one for a hand radio if needed.

There’s nothing to be fixed. If your phone won’t lay flat due to large cameras on the back it can’t interface with the qi charger
