Nice truck! If you want to keep it as stock as possible, consider this: Instead of swapping out the grill, paint it a gloss black. Others on this site have done it and it really makes the grill pop. It will really stand out against your color.

You can pop it off, hit it with the rattle can a few times (to get rid of the gray in it):

Hold off on getting a bed mat. They are pricy. But if you catch a dealership on the right day (like a Labor Day sale), you can pick one up for $80-ish bucks. I think retail is $160? Trust me, you want the OEM mat.




Do you know if you want a soft or hard tonneau cover? Soft ones can go as low as $300, and hard ones can be upwards of $2k. It all depends on styles/colors/retractable/foldable, etc.

This is the one I got for mine. Works great, I didn't have to drill or screw anything in to get it installed. It took about 10 minutes to install and I was able to do it by myself:

Get the TRD Skid and you'll have to remove the Air Dam! LOL

I also prefer the Vintage Toyota Grill--swapped it out with aftermarket & TSS works fine. Those headlights were replaced too!

One of the reasons I was not going to buy the TRD Sport was that hideous air dam. After I researched on forums on how to remove it, I literally found the Sport and the color I wanted.

 

I wanted to update everyone on the Costco auto buying program.

1. They were the only one who offered a Tacoma 4x4 for less than MSRP.
2. I called Costco today and completed a satisfaction survey. They emailed me a 50% (up to $200) off parts and accessories from the dealership.

 

I also had a great experience with them and would definitely go back. I bought mine from them in October
