    It took me about 30 minutes (pita) and also finally pulled the pump and just let the reservoir drain out till I got it over a bucket ....

    Getchu some spark plug pliers (long needle nose with rounded jaws on the end), work good for reaching in an hitting the unlock on stubborn connectors.
