Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
So I looked at them on ARBs website. I'm not sure if the winch tray from ARB ties into the bumper structurally.

most offroad bumpers, the bumper is built around the winch tray, and not added after the bumper is designed. The price difference between them both is 200 bucks new. If I could sell this one for 900, I'd certainly do that and just buy the 1200 dollar model

That's a horrible idea. What time?
So because of that big bull bar I had, I was drawn into a conversation in another thread. From that, one guy has what I thought (think) is a bull bar, but it comes with some brackets that allow a winch to used with it, up to 16k, but I'm not sold on it. It is from Setina which does a lot of the police car push bars, and they seem to work well or they would be used so much.

What he has is a mod (as part of the package) that goes through the front bumper and mounts to the frame, giving the support to the winch. I trust the company, but I'm not yet sold on this version. Not suggesting this as a replacement, but possible an option to add the winch plate to your current set up. Maybe a similar " bracket" could be fabricated the welders here.

"There is an upper support. You have to cut two slits through the center bumper molding (hidden by the winch tray in your picture). The two brackets in the lower left of this picture pass through them and bolt to the two "?" shaped brackets. Those brackets fish plate your frame so you have something stronger than the aluminum crumple zone to bolt to. I've tried to get a good picture of mine to no success."

Hey now, I don't trust that Setina package enough to put it on my truck. And I have been railing against these things since they pulled me into the thread (messaged about it.) The concept of what they did was the part I thought might apply to Nick.

I like and trust my plate bumper. And I think I still want to talk to you about the rear of the truck. Need some $$ first.

I couldn't tell from pics I've seen how that thing is built, and certainly don't know about your truck (although I like it.) I just thought the concept might save you some headache if you couldn't sell it.

I do. We're single incoming again. Gwen's company lost the contract (again) and she's working contingent until she can find a new one starting Jan 1. (Happy New Year!!) The really unfortunate part is the deck had some rotting framing so we had it replaced. The day after we signed the last check was the day we found out about the job loss. So if you see me standing on a corner somewhere with a sign that says "Need money for truck mods" be generous. :D

That center section has to be replaceable. The bar and side sections look exactly the same. And it looks like there's a seam on either side. Only problem is that ARB US is basically a warehouse. And I'm willing to bet they don't stock parts-type stuff.

I do think Nick could cut the bumper and weld in a winch plate. The six furniture screws holding the 2000lbs atv winch to the bull bar is for display purposes only.

If Tim still has his bull bar I think this would be a very important test for humanity’s sake.
