I've been out of this thread for a while in an effort to try and trick myself into forgetting about the rebound problem, but I'm back. It's funny you said it feels like it's going to rattle your dash apart @Chief_CNMI ... I have so many creaks and squeaks in my dash now and I was hoping I wasn't crazy in thinking this could be the cause lol.

I got "gaslighted" (as the kids say) by my buddy into thinking that I maybe had the coils adjusted too high, so we lowered them significantly as a science project, but saw no improvement at all. I love the ride quality on the road, I actually prefer the stiffness, but the smashing down of my entire front end any time there is a slight drop off/ root/ bump/ whatever, is what kills me.

On the bright side, the little brother bought a 2016 SR5 with a fairly blown-out stock suspension... so, in true big brother fashion, I'm going to donate the hand-me-downs that I no longer want to him and then feel good about it, problem solved. Win-Win.

Never felt my interior rattle like crazy like that. No I am not over exaggerating, but it happened that couple of times on a gravel road. It wasnt a washboard road. But the way the truck drove over that ground felt like a washboard. It was crazy. I'll snag a pic when I get back down there again.

I don’t off-road much (mainly to, and from hunting), but I’m impressed overall with the on and off road performance of this setup. Before, the suspension seemed squishy to me. Braking nosedive, and the rear end bumping the bump stops on abrupt bumps at times. With the Eibach setup, the truck handles well, is firm on and off road, but not stiff as hell. It feels like a quality suspension upgrade from stock in every way. That’s my 2 cents. No issues like I’ve been reading so far….also, fwiw, I’m still adjusting the tire pressure, right now I’m running 36 psi (cold).

No just the firmness and seemingly a decent performance option at a lower price point than higher end options like kings or fox but don’t need as much maintenance/rebuilds (provided you don’t end up with the issues some have had with what sounds like a lack of rebound dampening). They really should jump back in this thread and provide some answers, it is disappointing that they haven’t communicated with people about this issue given that they have received products back to evaluate. While mine have been great I couldn’t recommend them given the number of similar reported issues.

I wonder if it's really just a body mount/radiator mount causing these issues.

I'll be swapping mine out today hopefully. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

I've had a set of these sitting in my garage for almost 4 months now. I had emailed Eibach to see when mine were built and they were built in July. Are the issues mainly with olders versions? I wasn't sure if I was keeping the truck so never put them on. Looking like I may keep it now so debating tossing these on or just offload them.

This is exactly how I feel about it. I love how it rides on the road/highway but like mentioned, any drop or uneven on the road it shakes the whole truck, especially the front end.

Had my brother ride with me so he can experience the ride quality and he thought it rode great. Not to stiff or soft. We did hit a slight drop and had the front end come down harsh imo but he said it didn't feel too harsh, it just sounded like it was.

I'm assuming probably are from the older batch.
And that's what I'm saying, it rides amazing. I enjoy the firmer ride. But once you hit a drop or bump, my buyers remorse comes back aha.
That's the only time I'll miss my factory suspension, when I'd go over bumps and drops etc. And the truck doesn't feel like it's gon fall apart. It's just soft and plush.

I think it may be that the stiffer suspension accentuates issues with the weak body mounts that our trucks have.

I still haven't had a chance to replace mine yet, but I should be able to this weekend.

If stiff suspension accentuates body mount issues, then my body mounts are nonexistent after 4 years of riding around on the factory TRD Sport shocks!!! Those things were like solid pipes compared to the Eibach. Since you have an Off-Road, that makes sense you feel it is a stiffer ride. Prospective is huge with any shocks...

Yep, I very much prefer the more planted and slightly firmer feel of the Eibachs and my Deaver Expo stage 2s over the wallowing softness of the factory OR suspension. It was much firmer occasionally in the back when I'd smack the factory bump stops over certain on-road conditions (big dips etc when carrying a pretty light load).

Have you thought about adding more weight up front? Not sure if the same rule would apply to 3rd gens for those experiencing the stiff ride. I'll be adding a front bumper to my 2nd gen in a few weeks. I'll report back if anything changes.

UPDATE: Thanks everyone for your patience, we wanted to dive into this and give it the appropriate amount of time and attention. We tested this kit on the dyno AND on a vehicle (on and off-road), without any evidence of the noise concerns. All damping curves were still in spec. We then disassembled to inspect everything inside and all parts, fluid levels and pressures are in spec.

Is there anyone in SoCal experiencing the noise? The next step is to get a vehicle in who is experiencing this concern.

I am experiencing the issue and in SoCal but I have this set up on a second gen.

I ordered my stage 2 few months ago with the upgraded adjustment wrench.
I haven’t added any weight other than a camper shell and the ride I am getting is phenomenal.
I am happy with it because the ride is way better than stock.

I have a few notes though. I have 23 trd sport and I used the sway bar relocation kit and the sway bar rubbed on the radiator supports…. Removed relocation pucks and zero rubbing anywhere so in my case the relocation kit was not needed. Not even close… I did make eibach aware and sent them sway bar measurements etc. as they requested.

I didn’t lift mine much. About 1.5” front and added eibachs 1” block in rear. Looking for just a little lift n level.

The ride is drastically improved over the sport suspension.

Handling is great, everything seems to be quiet and function with great results.

One other strange issue is my upgraded wrench won’t accept a 1/2” drive breaker bar as it should - seems to be a slight issue with what’s been machined out I guess - Eibach is aware and working w me on this as well

I wanted to say- Eibach has been communicating w me constantly every time I email them and that says a lot imo.

My install (way back in post #830) is still performing great. No issues at all.

I've since got to take it out on a frozen lake for ice fishing. Driving conditions are deep snow and hard packed, well travelled paths that are rutted and bumpy. In the deep snow, I feel like there is less wheel hop in the rear and it's more planted giving me a better chance to get through the deep stuff. Not sure if the rear air bags I installed is helping with this too. They could be a factor. On the rutted out washboards paths, I have to say it feels bumpy but better than stock OR suspension. I saw a TRD pro on the ice with stock fox suspension and he seemed to be moving along quicker than me on this path. Since my driving is 99% street and 1% of this stuff, I think I made the right choice.

Still love the kit and would buy again for this price point. With an unlimited budget, I'd try an adjustable Fox 2.5 kit.
