    Gentlemen,

If I want to level my 2021 Tacoma TRD 4x4 so its level, how do I figure out what size leveling kit I need for the front? IS there a certain size or is there a reliable way to measure to make sure I get it level? I really wouldn't care for it being nose high. I was told it should be something like 1&7/8 low in the front but I haven't been able to verify.

Also, 95% of the time this is a street rod. I do go off road out in the pasture, camping, up in the mountains on dirt roads and etc. but I don't really do anything serious off road. So would the leveling kit be appropriate instead of an actual lift kit?

    Thanks for any help.

First make sure that all the tires have the same air pressure.
Next, measure from the center of the wheel (hub) up to the center of the fender well.
    - The drivers side is often .25”-.5” lower. This is normal. -

Now, look at the measurements you took.
Subtract the front height from the back height.
(Rear measurement - Front measurement = Lift amount)

With 3rd gens all the spacer leveling kits always end up nose high. Even if it starts dead level, the leaf springs sag over time. Most leveling kits are F 3" R 2" or F 2" R 0-1". Not ideal, but they work.

Ideally you'd measure then install 5100's at he clip height to match the desired ride height. Leaving 1/2" rake. 5100's act a lot better than oem on non-paved roads.

I actually prefer some rake and need it.
I tow and haul stuff quite often, blinding oncoming traffic with my headlights isn’t nice.

I think a man can do anything they want with their own truck.
But I prefer the look of a truck with some rake to it.

Thanks Gentlemen, much appreciated. Good to know on the leaf spring sag. Will give those measurements a try as well.
