I work outdoors a lot.
My body would never climatize running in and out of 68 to 90 degree weather.
I like 74 degrees inside at the coolest.

 

Touching my thermostat is like touching my radio. Unless we live in the same house, you best not touch without asking and getting my permission first.

It took countless combined hours and two trips to the car wash, but I've got the truck pretty well cleaned up...

Facebook's algorithm got me again, almost a day after I posted my "Negan Smith" meme; I blacked out part of the actual post because it contains something that would violate TW's CoC. Note that the time stamp is quarter past 5 am. Facebook is in California, and California is three hours behind Pennsylvania. I highly doubt that Facebook would have its censoring team up that early, which is further proof that this is the damn algorithm again...

I contested this nonsense, and the restriction was lifted within five minutes; I guarantee you that an actual human working for FB saw this realized that it was a main character from a popular TV series about a zombie apocalypse, and lifted the restriction...

 

On another note, the line from my meme was stolen from the song "Technical Foul" in Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights. Specifically, Whitey Duval says "If you touch the thermostat", followed by his sister Eleanor saying "Then you'll get hit with a bat"...

Unfortunately, algorithms don't know shit about pop culture or movies and TV shows, and Facebook's algorithm can't tell the difference between a reference both The Walking Dead and an animated Adam Sandler movie, and an actual thread of violence.

That said, this is one of those times when I believe that Mark Zuckerberg actually does need to be hit with a bat...

This is where my Facebook account currently stands; I made a remark about shooting geese for pooping on my truck back in February 2022, and then just this month I posted a meme about the punishment I believe that pedophiles deserve...

 

I actually use Facebook for stuff, like communicating with friends; I've hated it since COVID started though...

 

Well, they put the Negan Smith/Lucille meme back, and I intend on keeping that up as a nice, big "FUCK YOU" to Facebook...

 

Well, they lifted the ban and apologized, so I'll forgive them this time...

 

I just discovered this when I came out this his morning...

It looks like I'm going to be replacing the hood deflector, and I have no doubt that the rapid change from brutally cold to decidedly mild weather had something to do with this!
