Yup just some vinyl! I can't remember which site I got it from actually, but looks like there are a handful of vendors that have it if you search for tacoma tailgate wrap

My new Tacoma was delivered with hard water/acid rain spots/streaks on all of the windows. It looked like other cars I've had that were a decade old. Odd thing is.... when the windows are dry it looked perfect, when wet they looked like this...

    20221228_144438.jpg

Nothing, I mean NOTHING I tried would take it off... Goof Off, acetone, nothing. It's like a "shmootz" film that resists everything.

A buddy at work brought me some stuff... swore by it...

    Sud Factory water spot remover

The stuff is AMAZING! one application & the windows are crystal clear. What's on the windows is actually etched on the surface, this stuff is a very mild abrasive that polishes it out. Water now slides off in sheets... it won't spot 'cause the water has nothing to hang on to.

I can probably count on one hand the number of things I've tried in my life that actually did what they say... this is one.

    Nice tires man,
Got the same ones but in 285/75/16. A lot better than than wildpeaks. Had poor experience with them wearing way to fast. My E rated rubitreks where quieter than my 32 c rated wildpeaks.

    Enough for now
Alright I’m sure I’ll take some heat and questions but here it is. Bought some cheap fairly well fitting fender liners to cut and fit into my wheel wells. I recently cut my fenders and flares and despite it not raining for six months in San Diego we have a wet couple weeks ahead. This is the passenger side and while it may look like a chop job it did it’s job and kept my exposed intake much drier and cleaner today on my rainy ride to work. This is a temporary fix as I have more major mods lined up and then need to decide cowl intake or dorkel I mean snorkel.

I was able to tuck both sides up better after this photo was taken. Note to self, save your liners or have a plan when you cut fenders and flares

Hey man so I just purchased a pair of these lights. How was the wiring harness and how long did they take to get to you?

thx. I didn't want them tucked too far up into the front of the bed as I use the corners when I secure ratchet straps. The brackets are too long to sit on the wheel wells but VERY well made. They have tabs on either side of the T-nut bolt that go into the tracks to prevent swiveling and they have rubber bumpers against the bed on the foot. Nicely made and it was like $115 shipped for the pair!

Easiest electrical install I've done yet--took five minutes. That breakout harness that uses the 7-pin trailer harness is genius. While this isn't my favorite electrical mod, it makes the top three for ease-of-install, added functionality, and cool factor.

How an Oil Catch Can Works. Direct-injection engines have a tendency to collect oil in the intake manifold and other places because the fuel is injected directly into the cylinders. Carbureted engines didn't have this problem because the air and fuel were mixed in the carburetor and passed into the cylinder via the intake manifold. When the fuel passed through the intake manifold, it mixed with the engine oil and combusted in the cylinder. The positive pressure in the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve forces the oil-misted air through the catch can and the particles, contaminates, etc.--being heavier than the air--drip down into the catch can thus returning cleaner air to the manifold. In short, it can extend the life of your engine by keeping gunk out of moving parts. Just remember to empty it every oil change.

I just completed the Toyota new owner survey & let it be known my displeasure about this.

Expect a recall/full buyback notice in your mailbox soon
