    Good morning…..well not really.

    Going to be a tough day today. We need to say goodbye to our kitty. We will bring him in this afternoon. He has jaundice and his liver levels came back through the roof. :pout: Apparently normal bilirubin is .2 with high being at 1.0. Our little guys is 8.0. They said we could put him under anesthesia and tube feed him to see if we could bring that level down and then give him more tests to determine what can be done if anything. Our vet has never seen a bilirubin level so high and told us that his prognosis is very poor. I appreciate her brutal honesty. We decided against that. We don’t want him to have any days of suffering just so we can spend more time with him. He is such a happy kitty and now he just looks so sad.
    Yep, tough day for Palma and I. :pout:
