So, I'm eying the various bed stiffeners and Green Lane catches my eye with the stainless construction.

Like many, I hate that all the bed stiffeners eat into the already limited bed space, and looking at these I have a question: Can these be mounted on either side to move the gussets more toward the tailgate? I know it's only an inch, but she said that's enough to count!

It looks like you could swap sides. Be sure to test fit them and check that there is no interference with the tailgate.

The side fasteners are drilled by you, so their location isn't critical if you can get the washers / nuts on and not be tight to a bend in the metal bed stanchion.

Honestly though, after having stiffeners for about five years, they have very rarely been obtrusive. Way more handy and helpful than any problem that they might have caused.

the 4WP look more sturdy, will a OEM bed mat still fit in the bed when they are installed?

Greenlane stiffeners are stainless steel. They are pricey but they won’t rust out when they get banged up.

Apologies, you are correct. They are stainless. It's their sliders that are aluminum.

That pic looks like you've got them swapped just how I was hoping. Am I seeing that correctly?

PERFECT! Looks like I'll have to order those and sliders before they end their free shipping. Thank you for clarifying that for me.
