After spending 6-700 on the plasma and 3g's on the table too. So, the IPT 60 torch it comes with cannot be used for table, you had to get a separate one?

I don't think so, they say they send step by step instructions, as long as it's square and flat haha

The IPT 60 torch can be used, and the table comes with the mount to use it with.

What I've read though is that it can be a bit of an inconvenience to replace consumables compared to the machine torch.

Also, using the machine torch with the table allows you the flexibility to quickly disconnect it from the machine and hook up the hand torch if you need to cut something off the table versus disassembling a hand torch from the table to cut off of it.

Those are the two advantages really, but that's it I think.

So really, I just see it as a means of not having to disassemble shit to use a hand torch.

    Got a link?

I'd actually take on the job for ya, not an issue. Would just like to see the overall layout/setup before committing.

Sooner the better before the baby comes.

That's how I am about a lot of things actually; for instance having a second welder for flux core.

I will not go through the hassle of switching wire on one machine unless the spool fully ran out.

That's the 80 series in the water. I was on the bank on the other side recording the crossings. I'll go first to check the depths then call for others to cross while I film them. Everybody was happy their door seals kept the water out. We got into a lot of mud and needed the clear water crossing at the end to wash out the undersides.

Yeah, it fucks your whole shit up. I hate even switching tig cup setups from SS to AL. The mig chills in getterdone mode always which is nice.

Oh, btw, whats a drag tip?

    Wait what?

I'm talking about that Ozark dude, had the issue with his truck...needs to replace his knock sensor.

He got an 80 series already?

Oh yeah I hated switching cups.

Hell, I hated pulling my tungsten just to sharpen and fix it for AL in case the ball didn't ball up the way you wanted it to.

A drag tip is used for thinner steel, so low amperage setting. You would run the torch much closer to the steel than you would for thicker steel.

Knowing this, you can sit the drag tip right on the steel and literally draw as you cut.

With thicker steel, you'd sit the torch farther away from the surface.

I bought a set of drag tips but don't even use them.

Les Schwab carried all of the Toyo tires except the AT3, I guess they probably want to push their 2 house ones but damn. Way happier with LS than I have been with discount tire though. Hmmm
