So, don't try to move the Galaxy Explorer at the leading corner of the wing. I'm now missing a piece somewhere behind my desk.

That's the only time I've ever referred to it. And now my mission is to make it the last.

This one's a little under 2'x1'. I love it, makes it real easy to move a set in progress around or just to make sure nothing rolls off the table. The noise reduction is nice too hah.

My Christmas haul this year. Not as big as usual but that’s because I bought more sets this year :anonymous: Still a tradition of a Lego a year from my parents so I will never complain one bit :D

Started the Galaxy Explorer last night. First bag is done. I can see this is going to be a fun build.

Gotta be honest: it was fun to build something again solo but this modular is probably my least favorite of all of them so far. The architectural details are probably the best thing this set has going for it. There’s a complete lack of interior space with both the store and home. The third floor of the bookstore has a bed and a chameleon in an aquarium, that’s it… doesn’t make sense. There’s no kitchen or bath in the row home, just a ladder and mousetrap in a useless crawl space.
Unlike some of the other row homes that were part of other modular builds this one is quite spartan in its offerings.
Hopefully the police station will be a better experience. :fingerscrossed:

Finished my Christmas present, the Home Alone house. I have to say it was a very fun build with lots of details from the movie.

Been getting some build time in over the holidays. Got the hogwarts carriage and thestrals done. Pretty good version of Harry and Luna as well as a Quibbler.

Been a while since I’ve done a 1000 piece build so I spread out the burrow over a few days of building. Love all the detail they managed to put into the house despite it missing a few stories and 3 bedrooms, a really nice build over all.

Love that you can flip the fire place green for flow powder.

    upload_2022-12-31_16-52-16.jpg

And managed to get the first 3 bags of 12 Grimmauld place done this afternoon.

And I gotta say the new versions of molly and tonks are much better than the older ones that came with the burrow.

It has been about 13 years since I was active in the online AFOL Lego scene. My wife and I acquired the home we hope will be our last and we’ve set aside a room for hobbies, including Lego.

After using the Tacoma to haul my collection from my parents’ home, we’ve slowly been unpacking it and arranging it. The picture below is our progress to date.
