I have a 2006 4x4 6speed manual. I can not get the rear differential to lock. Anybody else have this issues? I put it in 4low, put it in natural and then try going into gear. Nothing seems to work.

Try driving forward slowly and turning the wheel a bit to give it a chance to engage. If you can't eventually get this to work you will need to troubleshoot.

Correct way to engage 4low is to start in 4hi, the neutral, then 4low. Reverse to get back out…
Shoot, just saw your a manual trans, this may not apply, sorry, best of luck.

Can you hear the actuator moving? Try turning the wheel as you roll the truck, sometimes that helps. If you haven’t engaged it in a while the actuator could be rusted
