    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I do remember there a bunch of different sizes and stupidity with the way they have their radiators. That makes it confusing.

I'm almost 100% certain I just bought the taller radiator and taller shroud from O'reily's, last time I replaced mine. But that was when I was yanking my Champion piece of shit, so I had neither a stock radiator, nor stock shroud to measure off of.

Manual trans rad shroud is different from the auto trans shroud which is also different from the 5 lug auto shroud if I’m not mistaken. No clue about a 5 lug manual truck.

Like you said above whatever size rad you have stick with it or you’re buying a new shroud.

He’s manual swapped. Seems it is out of stock everywhere now. Not sure about OEM suppliers in Japan or the Middle East.

I'd imagine those would be expensive.

Too bad I didn't save my auto one, I'm sure I could adapt one, but don't want to waste the money.

Edit: I might just buy a cheap auto mount from rock Auto and see if there's something that can be done. It would help others in the same boat if there's an easy solution.

Or just go with a cheap RA manual mount, they're easy enough to swap out.

ehiii, it was your build thread that got me on this "build myself" route.
from the fist page of your thread:
    <Exterior
    - Custom Roof Top tent rack and awning mounts>

very nice, Ill keep that saved.

I Believe you misunderstood my post. the pre-built, welded and painted and sold are all pushing $800, I agree with you, I hope to do it cheaper and matching my truck specific needs, my example of cost* - https://rcimetalworks.com/product/12-sport-bed-rack/

    freaking sweet! :bananadance:

    LOL... Awesome!

I've actually built the rack twice. The first time was a little over built, and heavy. I also reconfigured to work better with ideas I had over the course of running version 1 for a couple years.

If you have any questions PM me or you can always hit me up in the build thread.

Glad it inspired, that's what it's there for.

    4 run, 2 don't
    Gotcha.

A lot of that you see there is angle and c channel.

The hard part is not having a cnc plasma/laser/water or mill to do those nice slots, but if you drill your own holes for mounting stuff you want, you can definitely get it done for cheap.

C channel will cost you less than square tube, and angle will cost you less than c channel; it's all about the weight you buy.

Exact same. I think I just got it. It fits flush now but there is some pressure on that corner. Bending the tip of it downward a tad.

it smells like oil and di-electric grease. Assuming this is the leaky valve cover gasket how long do I have before I need to get in there and replace these before it makes a mess of my cylinder 3 plug again? Is this an emergency repair or something to keep an eye on for a few months?

To the SAS guys, I need some help. I’m just not happy with my steering, on a stop or Moans and groans but driving it’s fine at speeds above 15, think turning in a parking lot it groans or turning from a start. Checked fluid last night and it wasn’t cooked and was at fill (hot). It sounds like it’s coming from the steering box but it doesn’t seem to be leaking.
