Good morning all. Oil change for the truck today but first a little cleaning. Kidney thing is getting better - new medication was taxing them too much.

Get knee replacements for both knee's done as soon as you can . It'll make you feel so much better not being in constant pain . I got my Right knee replaced in 2015 but had complications that resulted in four revision surgeries . Then just two months ago I had my Left knee replaced

My left knee was so badly worn out as I waited to long after my right knee replacement . But now as I mentioned previously I'm walking more and exercising more and the best part I'm pain free

Knee replacement surgery has advanced significantly since 2015 when I had my R/ knee replacement . I was in the VA Ortho ward five days then transferred downstairs to a community care unit . I was there an additional 2 weeks before I could go home . The community care was also physical therapy 3x's per day 1 hour per session

After I was allowed home I had an additional PT at home for two more months

This most recent knee replacement surgery also at the VA Hospital but in Nashville Tennessee this time . After my surgery I was transferred to the Ortho ward for an overnight stay . The following day I was up and walking around and discharged that afternoon . I requested thru the VA to have Home PT and after 20 sessions I'm up and walking around and pain free

Since them I've had two Ortho visits at the VA and my surgeon is very pleased of my progress

Had one of mine rebuilt a few yrs ago. put it off for same reason to commit to down time. doc said another yr or two amd it would have been a replacement but since i work on my feet said i had good muscle tone in my legs for my age and used a strip out of my ham string to make a new ACL. but yes it makes you feel better in the long run:thumbsup:
