Always less than it is in Washington. Washington has one of the highest gas taxes in the nation. I think only New York and California have more taxes added to gasoline.

And you're not going to post a video clip so we can hear what it sounds like??!!?

That side exit is an interesting choice on a Toyota. Don't think I've seen that before. But I've definitely seen it on diesels with a 5" tip coming out :rasta:

i want to change the suspension on my runner soon. any suggestions? when i lifted my prerunner with 5100s i was left with a little remorse because i felt like it didnt seem much higher than stock. so i want to avoid that feeling again.

i was thinking of going the OME route with 885s. however some people post such dramatic differences with the same setup im not sure how much lift it actually gets. im guessing around 2.5-3 depending. i know anything over 3" is gonna cost alot more so maybe the OME with bigger tires? i currently have 265/70.

toytec also has a pair of rebuilt SAWs i saw for sale. $500. i know they are pretty pricey new so is this a good deal? i would still have to get new rear shocks since my runner has the XREAS system, all 4 shocks are linked so they all have to get replaced.

i would probably get LR UCAs

Well, you don't totally notice the lift until you do the suspension and the tires.

It's hard for us to recommend much since you have a completely different vehicle. Front is about the same, but rear is totally different. Not sure what weird things you might run into, such as trimming, clearances, etc.

Those are not SAWs. They are rebuilt Bilstein 5100 (which isn't entirely true since I don't think you can rebuild a Bilstein...). You get about $300 off new price, but I don't think it's a deal since you still need to pay for rear and an entire OME kit would cost less.

Agreed. Spoken from someone who has the same suspension set up as you. (Prado frame)

ahh, they were red coils. i just assumed lol. but the rear is really simple. all there is, is a coil sitting wedged between the axle and the bottom of my car.

Did you not have to have anything done to your axle locating cross-bar (the official name is escaping me at the moment)?

There is a bar going cross-wise over the top of your axle. It keeps the axle from moving side to side as you drive down the road. As you lower your axle it changes the geometry.

    Look here...
