Anyone in the Denver area know where the best places to look for a fourwheeler +/- a plow blade?

Anyone have issues with premature SPC UCA failure recently?

@CG256 has gone through a set of ball joints but not like what you're dealing with.

 

I killed a set of ball joints in like 12k miles, the new joints have a little play after a few more thousand, and there's now noticeable play from the xais joints.

Complete garbage.

 

I’ve lost count. I think I’m on my third set of arms, fifth set of ball joints, and fourth set of bushings. My current set it is showing play in balls and bushings after less than 5k miles. What are you going to/did you switch to?

 

Probably the accutune ones. Heims for adjustability but still have balljoints.

Honestly the uniballs in my TC arms in the other truck have held up way better than the SPC balljoints. And way cheaper to replace. So I wouldn't be adverse to another uniball upper with heims either - which opens up the possibility to TC, dirt king, camburg, etc.

 

Also, want to add I do my own alignments and don't mind messing with the heims.

I think almost every alignment shop wouldn't touch them.

Thanks. I’m thinking of icon tube DJ or maybe their billet. I’ll do my research on the Accu tune. The SPCS help me fit my 34s with no trimming and no rubbing so I’d like to find another arm that could do the same but that’s a tall order

You need adjustable arms to do that.

Max out the caster via the LCA cams, then dial in the camber, and back off a little caster, with the uppers.

I’m in the process of shopping for new UCAs as well to replace my SPCs. What thoughts does anyone have as far as delta joints vs uniballs?
