Great White Taco build

how do you like the gfc? if thought about building one for my ranger instead of having a rtt

 

I love it! So easy to set up and take down. Plus dry storage! I also love that i can stand up inside. Huge plus that its ~275 lbs. Lighter than any previous setup ive had

 

ya ive looked at ripcords build and it looks doable besides the canvas

id buy from gfc but its loads of cash

 

Yea but you can have it in a couple weeks. Plus now GFC offers financing

 

everything i see they show it being done after a year of waiting... and i see the financing which is neat but its another car payment basically haha

 

Its changed since i got mine. You buy it now and it's built and ready in like 4-5 weeks

 

that would be really nice tbh i just wish i had the cash for it haha

Thanks! I am not super careful about dust. Its a truck bed so dust will get in. Plus i have a few holes in my bed that i should seal soon

 

the dust vents were neat but he also used it so he could pump in hot air from his heater it was a neat idea tbh

 

Oh yea definitely. I have my heater routed to come into the bed through the wheel well bed cubby.

Those door vents, he needed to cut a hole in the door. Im not ready to do that haha.

 

haha true the tacomas have those door vents so its useful the rest of us dont got those lmao so if i get or build one for my ranger ill most likely add it

 

oh question how do you get in the gfc? can you enter through the inside of the bed or do you have to enter from the outside of the truck?

 

I get in through the bed. You could also get a ladder for outside entrance

 

Oooh so you can get in through the bed I was wondering about it because I’ve been thinking more and more about one if I sold the m100….

do you like that im using a Shorai lithium battery to test it? Only thing i had available. Its a motorcycle battery. Weighs about 1lb, maybe less

 

i think thats how much my buddy spent on his when he built it tbh not to terrible

 

Not bad! Now you have no excuses about it being too cold to camp.
