i may have but not intentionally…. Sounds odd that it would feel like that though.

I have a message in with iron man but I figure I would ask here. I have about 250lbs constant weight on the bed and I also occasionally tow a 1200lb trailer while carrying my family and 500lbs of gear. I assume the 0-400lb rear springs will work better than the 400+ but I haven't heard anyone really specify which rear springs they went with and what weight they carry. Are the normal springs enough?

While they’ll probably be enough, my answer is uneducated…
That said, if your buying, you can get the bigger gvw ones and always take a spring or two out it you need. That way, if you ever end up adding a bunch more weight, you can throw them back in.

Are the bigger springs just more leaves? That would be a no Brainer if so

IIRC yes, they are just extra leaves. I know there were a few here that got them and took a few out. Might have to search in here to find them but there are here somewhere.

Unless IM changes something in the last 6 months or so.

I went with 0-400lbs because they said I can always add more leaves if I need them. And 400lbs is little cheaper. I have about 200lbs on the bed and I'm happy with them.

Oh, did they change the price of them? They used to be the same. No reason that I look at their page anymore unless someone asks a question here.

Anyone here install after market leaf shackle hangers? I’m looking (day dreaming) at Archive Garage and BAMF hangers.

I know some leaf packs hit the hanger and was curious if the IMs do as well.

    Pretty quiet here lately.
For anyone with the leaf packs, mine had been squeaking from the drivers side with both momentum from a stop or stopping. Jumping up and down didn’t have squeaks. I finally found the issue being rubbing of a rubber piece on the saddle next to the gas tank. Sprayed all around it with silicon spray and it stopped.

Also, I ordered a set of BAMF hangers so I’m excited to get those and instal them! I’ll post when that happens as well. That’s gonna be a fun instal. :sawzall:

So…I’ve had my suspension for almost 2.5 years. It’s noisy as all get up and has rust. Anyone experience this much rust? Or is this normal?

Id say that looks a little heavy for rust. That said, I’ve kept my under carriage and leaf packs well covered in wool wax.
They have the 3 year warranty, send them the pic on insta and see if they reply.

Their username does not come up for a tag…

Here is where mine was squeaking bad- I’ll also upload a pic of what mine look like. Might not get as much snow but they snow and brine a lot here in MD during the winter.

@Superhulk LB here’s mine. Most of what you see is from the wool wax.

That’s pretty clean. I sprayed mine with wool wax or the other stuff. I wash mine after any beach trip. I didn’t expect it to rust so much. Oregon also rarely uses salt. Thanks for the pic and info.

You’re pretty close to their shop right? Maybe I’m remembering that wrong but take a drive up/over/down there and see what they say. Or go to one of their coffee meet ups and ask lol

Yeah, about 45 minutes away. That’s probably my best bet. Lol.
Sadly, my factory parts are rusting a little too. Drives me crazy.

Damn. I’ve noticed a bunch of other rust areas on my truck but those are not thinks that’ll make noises and won’t keep Woolwax on.

Hey guys! I don't post much, so hoping I'm in the correct forum on topic and all that stuff...
Is it normal for the rear of the truck to be quite a bit higher than the front with the IM foam cell pro stage 2 lift? With the HD springs front and rear, mine was sitting at about 3 1/2" higher in the back, which seemed excessive. I contacted IM and they told me I could remove a couple leaves, so I took 3rd one out first. That helped a bit, maybe 1" less, so I threw about 350 lbs in the back and have been driving it around for a few weeks. That took another maybe 1 1/2" off but when I take the weight out it goes right back. Today I removed 4th leaf (counting from original build) and with 200 lbs in the back it's about level. Remove that and I'm still about 1 1/2" higher. Seems like I'm splitting hairs, but it feels like the headlights are pointed at the ground, and I've looked at tons of other trucks on the road and they seem pretty level...and the photos of the trucks with the kit installed on the IM web site all seem pretty level too...
My truck is bone stock 2022 Tacoma 4-door, 4WD w/TRD Off-Road package. I bought the HD springs front and rear because the stock springs were bottoming out with only about 200 lbs in the bed. We don't normally have anything in the bed, but my wife and I SCUBA dive, so when we go there's around 200 lbs in the back with all our gear...and it bottoms out on the freeway and over bumps in the parking lot. With four people and all our gear, it was pretty much riding on the bump stops. I thought about AAL options, but even my wife was complaining about how spongy the ride was. The IM kit fixed all of this except for the excessive height in the rear... IM said give it 3K-5K miles to settle...I've got about 1K on them now, but I'm damn impatient!! ;-) Removing the second leaf from the pack seems like it'll work out if it settles a little over time, but I also don't want to reduce the load capacity too much so I'm back in the situation I started with... So if it's the norm for the rear to settle and the front to stay at the correct height, then I'd just like to know and I'll suck it up and wait it out... Tnx - Rob

There have been others here that had the rear sitting up really high with the hd springs in the back and just removed one or two. If you search in the thread for remove or something similar, you might be able to find what they did.
Sorry, can’t really help more than that. I got the regular duty springs
