    Oh no doubt

That truck was a 2004 and ironically my dad had a 2001 V6 speed that he taught me how to drive stick in, but I never took it out on the road. Mother made me drive the long stretch home in it, was quite the experience. The sales guys were laughing their ass off when I test drove it and the first take off I chirped the tires. But hey, I didn't stall it!

Speaking of your truck, do you still have that old Deka battery in there? If so, that's a badass battery! If you ever need one I know a place that sells the same brand over near me. Guess I'll let you drive my truck there

My dad threw me in the driver's seat of his old Scout (3spd, column), hooked up a boat and told me he was gonna get drunk whilst I figured out how to get that boat to the lake and back it in.

I took my buddy for a ride in the Tacoma on a spirited "yard drive" and he commented "what rpm do you shift at?" I just kinda looked at him then said "whatever one comes before redline." I love my taco, but 3.12 rear end and 2.7 liter screamin four banger does not equal good acceleration

    Damn!

Subaru is gonna need a new battery and I'm gonna go with another East Penn/Deka battery. Gotta pick up a lawn mower battery from them as well. Super nice people I get mine from.

Kind of a long trek for you though. :pout:

Yeah it is fun shifting when you learn the vehicle and the feel but those trucks at school suck. Each one's different but you never drive them long enough to learn their quirks. I definitely wouldn't wanna look at what's on the bottom of their trans pans. Probably a crap ton of metal from gears

It's definitely nice Ms. Mollie let's you drive it!:fistbump:
