A chunk of luck there with two essentially jump balls both ending up in our hands. The Raiders keep having bad dates with lady luck and the Niners have been dropping people in coverage going back a few games now.

 

I think Bosa saved it by shoving a man into their QB and giving the Bald Eagle another chance to ice it. It looks like the Raiders have a QB now, albeit a little late in the season.

 

I’m rooting Lions. If lions and my hawks win then seattles in wooo. We still have the broncos first round for our highway robbery of a trade so not concerned abt draft pick even tho I know seattle is out first round of playoffs if we make it

Both qb’a were pressured into those quackers. My point was that we ended up with both and it could have been a split or the other way around and either of those possibilities might have changed the outcome. The Raiders are a dumpster fire loaded with talent but lacking direction or consistency. I don’t think one game is much of a sample size for determining the future but it’s certainly enough to give him another game. Purdy has 4 now and keeps checking boxes so he keeps getting starts. He added playing from behind for much of the game this week. It’s impressive but not enough to discard Trey.

 

Let’s kill this bullshit Tomlin streak tonight and start on a new one in September. I want the better draft picks.

It’s a rare day when I get happy that Pittsburgh scored.

Today is one of those days.

Carr was never the problem, 9 years of miserable, bottom of the league defense that couldn’t hold a lead was. There aren’t enough Brady’s to go around so if you want to go to the playoffs you need at least some defense and coaches that are capable along with a front office that can identify talent and not miss too often. And that applies just as much to the coaching staff as the players if not more so since it’s that coaching tree that is responsible for getting the most out of the roster. They can move on from Carr but if Josh McDaniel can’t put together a better staff it won’t get better.
