this is the best answer. also, lol with the username!

you need to have a different approach than anyone else that identifies your channel as characteristically different than other channels.
just a quick sampling of some of my current youtube subscriptions:

casey ladelle does this by simply being honest and trying to showcase helping people for the benefit of helping people.
dirt lifestyle has an obsessive-compulsive shooting style that tends to showcase the effort while still keeping one's attention.
puddin's fab shop just try's to have fun while building stuff, usually on the extreme cheap.
lockpicking lawyer does this by being extremely short, simple, and straight forward, but extremely knowledgeable within the field.

if you want free taco parts, you need to start a detailed plan for building a super taco, and lay out your plan, start building it, all the while finding a way to accurately tell a story, keep people's attention, and offer value to subscribers to keep up on it. barnes4wd seems to literally hand out paid promotions out of a cookie jar. it seems they're involved in some way in every major off road vehicle build channel...

but if your ultimate goal is free taco parts, promoting gutters isn't going to get you there. once you start getting subscribers, they're looking for similar content.

major hardware found his niche in computer fan design showdowns. if all of a sudden he stopped that and started building a cummins-swapped vw bug, he'd lose most of the following he'd built up, because the people that are interested in 3-d printing and computers aren't going to be turning to his channel for oily diesels and dirty-hand builds.

same as if matt's offroad recovery decided to change modes and start showcasing only precision-made costume jewelry

I think you can get sponsored to get those ‘installed’. For science, of course.

That looks like one of those dangerous places on the Internet. Give me a dollar and I'll click it on behalf of TW, and describe what I see within.

Be Sure To LIke and SUBscribe!!!11!11!1!!!

i'd say i'm trying to build my own channel, but given the content so far is "boobs, and taco's" i think my primary sponsor is going to end up being hooters.

I tend to get a bunch of companies offering up products that are either highly saturated in the market or have nothing to do with my channel installs. It's kinda funny. Like I'll get an email asking if I want to do a video on an indoor waterfall fountain, or a woman workout device, or an LED lighting Kit for the interior. Hooke off road reached out, but I already have my bumpers set up. They seemed cool with me installing stuff for my group members. Like others have said you need the followers/ subs. They are hard to come by, it takes a ton of effort and time. Well, unless you're half way attractive with a decent rack. My one piece of advice, is put your head down and do the work with what you like. Don't go into this looking for free shit, you will look and feel disingenuous on everything you do. Don't want something just cause its free. I turn all the free shit down, at this point I would rather pick and chose what I want to install and share.
