Just installed Icon RXT leaf packs on my 3rd gen Tacoma and I am getting a loud clunk from the passenger side pack. Has anyone else had a clunking noise with the RXTs? It seems to only happen at low speeds when I hit speed bumps or other small bumps.

Did you check torque of all bolts, and do so with full weight on ground? Not on jack or jackstands. What shocks.

Re-torqued as well? Not familiar with relocatebracket, but I'm sure you looked that allover to make sure clearance on everything?

One can never have too many light bars.
It might not be the shock. Check your body mount bushings. They wore out on my 2nd gen and I was getting the same clunk over speed bumps.

I’ll take a look, I know the front body mount bushings go bad but this is coming from the rear passenger side of the truck.

Are your shackles oriented the correct way (open end forward)?

Had a clunking issue at start of drive and slow speeds when I installed mine the wrong way.

Pretty sure it’s the front eyelet. The military wrap knocks against the inner leaf on bumps (at least that’s what they say on the Raptor forums). Gonna try slide some rubber between the leafs and see if that solves it

That muffler looks awful close to leaf/hanger eye bolt, now that it's reversed. Any visible marks on it? Could that be your clunk.

I run RXT springs with no clunk. Also if you look at the amount of flex you can get prior to hitting bump stops there is no way that military wrap is hitting the spring. Something else is going on. Post some more pics if you can of the rest of the spring pack including the shock mounts

So I just went out and was looking under my truck and when I grab my shock body and rotate it, it is much easier to rotate than the driver side. So that makes me think maybe there’s a bushing or washer missing from the top mount? I’m gonna take both shocks off and compare the bushings in the top mount. Maybe the shock is hitting the bolt if there’s like an inner sleeve missing.

I had the same clunk, it was this bolt right here in the pic. They are difficult to tighten and get a wrench into the nut on the back side. It was quiet on paved roads, but sounded like someone was hammering the bed on dirt roads. if you have locking needle nose it will help getting to the rear nut.

Just following up, I finally figured out the problem. It was due to my Kings not being charged with nitrogen... No problems with the RXTs.
