    Complete speculation here but coulda been an avalanche. Also, in my experience through the years often times people get hurt or die when doing fairly routine things they may have done hundreds of other times cause they aren't as focused as they would be while doing something "extreme"

    Anyways whatever happened it sucks. RIP
