……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….if you read back the conversation started with you talking about trying to learn to drift your truck in the snow. Lol

ya i was bored lol i wanted to see how the ranger would do vs the tacoma.

the tacoma needed a bit more throttle input and kinda medium steering it seemed to have it drift and slide around for fun with everything off obviously

the ranger on the other hand needs less throttle since it has more power and torque so i spun it lol and also less steering input its steering moves a lot faster then the tacoma did so it be a learning thing lol.

but i think it was either that same post or one later on where i talked about the traction control when i was headed home driving normal and slow for the conditions of the roads where the traction control or vsc as shellshock put it activated when i hit a patch of black ice and instead of locking the truck up like my tacoma did and be along for the slide.. it just limited everything and kept me in control of the vehicle so i didnt slide into the wall (my civic si acted similar to this and it was nice) that is what started this entire discussion.. not me "drifting" the truck lol

Fwiw my 2005 DCLB had super touchy ABS in the snow. Would activate very quickly and the pulsation rate was very high compared to other systems I’ve driven/raced/worked on. I’ve met other early 2nd Gen guys with similar complaints.

This technically should have been a few months ago but I just now got off my ass about fixing it. Hand washing dishes finally got old.

I used KC Rim Shop in Belton. They will tint any window to any level without any question. They only tint on Wednesdays and you have to make an appointment. I've had 3 cars done by them. Not a single bubble or issue. Oldest was done in 2016 and has been parked outside and driven 100,000 mi. Still looks brand new!

Well corporate wont do anything because the Molle service writer told them that the brakes must be disassembled to put the rear leafs on and whoever did the work didn't put the springs back in correctly. I told them that the service writer thinks I still have disk brakes and doesn't know what he is talking about and she said "I'm not a mechanic, I must trust the service writers over the customers. They are the experts." So Legends is still trying to get it covered. They are worried that if they replace everything, Toyota won't pay them for the work...mainly because it is so hard to get brake pads and shoes covered under a workmanship warranty. So I proposed paying for the new shoes and they present all the other parts to Toyota for warranty replacement. They are supposed to get back to me this week.
