Honestly, I don’t know. I’ve never had an issue, knock on wood. If it pops next time I go out I blame you! Lol

The Doberman and the Rottweiler are decendents of the Beauceron. Their lineage goes back to the 14th centure. Today all 3 breads are still going strong and have not been ruined by back yard breeders. Check out the double rear claws. Zoom in, there for killing dragons!

Haha it's all good, got a laugh out of me though..as to what happened, well I had a hunch that the bumper slid on its adjustments, so i had to readjust it and torque the bolts higher than the manual states because clearly its not enough. I also drilled and added 2 grade 8 bolts on each side of the mounting bracket and the bumper so it wont move ever again since the holes i drilled aren't oval shape looking like the others are.

Hope i made some sense there.

I’ve wrestled with the same issues all day today. Another splendid feature are the turn signal lights (complete lack of instructions), and illogical assembly. I’ve given up on the lights completely.

My 13 yo put one on my 2G. Took about 3 hours. IDK maybe the 3G version is wack.

Toyota should design a more simpler front bumper/grill design that is more accommodating to the installation of an aftermarket bumper. I wouldn't say the new Ranger looks better than a 3rd gen but I like how the bumper follows a flat line at the top below the grill and headlights like the 05-11 2nd gens and 1st gen Tacomas.

That was the whole reason I got the bumper; after a 5mph wreck 10 freaking pieces snapped and had to buy/align it all. Not fun

I heard the front of the tacoma is so bulbous due to pedestrian crash safety standards.... Makes sense... The few things i wish toyota would change that actually matter in real life:

    1.) Diesel Option

2.) Cab Body Mounts out of the way of the front tires

    3.)Shorter gears

I definitely think the Ranger ARB bumper looks way better than the 3rd gen. That is the first thing I thought when I saw it. It looks way more compact and follows the front cutoff much better.

That’s true, and it does work during wrecks. TBH the gearing in mine isn’t bad even with 33” tires and lift, but the manuals have a different gear ratio. Let’s pray for a diesel option.

Currently looking for deals on 5.29's.... You're right, truck doesn't feel too shabby unloaded on 33's. Different story loaded down and on the rocks.

So I put this bumper on this past weekend... It's level left to right but it's rised (you can tell in the picture.) Doesn't bother me a whole lot but throws to stupid TSS off. Now when I threw it on I played with the mounting holes and that's what I got. The antenna mounts are so close to the grill. Any advice on how to fix this? Worse case I can live with it.

Those are the ugliest bumpers that I have ever seen. I mean the bumpers look good off the truck till installed :puke:. I would never put something like that on my beautiful Taco. just saying
