Hi guys, I have a 2022 SR5 Tacoma that I plan on leveling soon, 2" in the front. I want thicker and bigger tires but I also don't want to do a CMC. What is the biggest tire size I can install without any rubbing issues? I did some research and I found that 265/75R 16 would be the biggest but I'm curious to see if I can maybe go a bit bigger than that.

I want to level the front 2" but maybe lift 3 on front and 1 in the back if that can get me thicker tires.

Search is your friend. Learn a lot about what your leveling kit will do to your truck before you throw parts on it. Research a lot before potentially destroying your investment. And you can fit 35's without much cutting if you are willing to shell out the cash for good suspension geometry.

    Oh look, another mod....
You have to make sacrifices if you want bigger and thicker tires. Don't worry though, all your fellow bro-crawlers at the mall won't care.

    P. S. Enjoy the shitty MPG's you're about to get! I hope it's worth it.

    Welcome to TW.

This is the most commonly asked question here and is sort of a meme at this point. That said, I'll chime in.

One size up at stock tire width or two sizes up in a narrower tire width is all ya got, without any modifications. Either 265/75 or 255/85 on 16s. Could try 285s for a wider tire, but will require trimming.

Putting a block in the front for leveling is fine - it won't enhance peformance but will achieve a desired look. Going higher than two inches of lift gets expensive, both to do it right and prevent future issues. Everything you need is on the forum to further explain.

    Enjoy!

    That's basically the level/lift you're looking for on my SR5 with 265/75/16s.

You could do 33s but they'll rub for sure, my 265s will rub if I hit an uphill corner in reverse just right.
