I have the app for my current taco and put in the vin for the new one. did the same for my current one that was coming. Just remove day before you pick it up and then reenter it after you buy it. trials reset to date of sale anyway.

To my knowledge, they are “short sea” shipped along the coast to a port in Mississippi before traveling by rail to the northeast.

You may be right. It’s possible they’re queuing up a bunch of trucks for a single shipment.

That certainly makes more sense; I was always under the impression that everything for the northeast, whether from Japan or the Gulf, came through Port of Newark.

Recently, a couple of people here told me that was incorrect, so I’m unsure. Once I see where my truck goes I guess I will know for certain.

Until recently, most of our trucks were getting built in Baja and shipping via rail, so the logistics for Guanajuato are still new to me.

Yes the Baja trucks come on rail to the east coast while the Guanajuato come by vessel to east coast ports. You can tell by the VIN where they are made, The 11th digit is factory indicator, T = Guanajuato M= Baja

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Mine was built on 10/15 and it was stuck in Lazaro Cardenas forever…I still haven’t gotten mine. Every week the delivery date gets pushed a few weeks. It went from Nov 18 to now Jan 20th…I fully expect it to get pushed to Feb 1st at the end of this week.

Thanks for sending this over! I knew the truck landed in Portland but my sales guy said they only get 2 shipments of vehicles per month if they’re lucky…the last one was on the 29th…so if it’s not on the next one it could be another two to three weeks :(
